Working Through Challenges
A key project challenge was that the busy offices were to remain fully operational whilst work was carried out.
The project was won by Apex Lifts whose tender included for the installation of the TVC Navigator control system in perfect partnership with Apex’s reputation for installing the latest technology with British craftsmanship.

Work began in 2019 and Apex Lifts oversaw the entire modernisation process, which included safely moving
major components and equipment through the occupied building.

Key components were manufactured by Apex Lifts and long-term trusted suppliers including TVC.

The selected Ethos Navigator Destination Control system consists of 18 Tablet Touchscreens, 47 mirrored lift ID’s, Ethos Navigator browser, lift fixtures with audio facility and interface to turnstile system.

TVC worked closely with Apex Lifts to ensure minimal lift down-time during the transition to the new system which was successfully completed in 2020.

“TVC Ethos Navigator was our first choice for this project, the equipment is tried, tested and reliable. TVC’s technical support were always on hand to help as required and very proactive in their response. Our client was very pleased with the end product and the training they received on the Navigator system”.
