Responsibilities

Thames Valley Controls aspire to lead the market and serve it with excellent independent lift monitoring and control technology and support. Through our dedicated and skilled expertise we will provide lifetime product support. This is achieved through a commitment to product development and a strong workforce. We are marking our fiftieth anniversary year with the release of exciting new technologies and products.

We have a rare opportunity for two qualified Lift Engineers with at least three years of experience to join our Field Support team immediately. Both will suit someone based in the Southeast.

As a member of the Field Team you will be supporting the full range of Thames Valley Controls products. The majority of the work will involve our range of monitoring products, including the EMU monitoring unit, autodiallers, CCTV and information screens. The work will cover the installation of new products as well as the support and upgrade of existing equipment. Training will also be provided for the support of our latest Ethos 2 panels and legacy control products.

Most of the work will be based within the M25 but travel further afield will be needed occasionally.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of lift control systems and working safely within a lift environment. You will be capable of understanding a wiring diagram and where to obtain signals for the monitoring products. You will be able to work independently, solving problems as they arise. Normally you will work alone but will need to work alongside another Engineer as job requirements dictate. You will be computer literate and comfortable performing software updates using a laptop as well as setting up IP based network equipment. You will become a member of a close knit team and as the face of Thames Valley Controls in the field enjoy the support of the whole company. You will have excellent customer service skills.
